Product information "PE-HD TelePipe"

The PE-HD Telo Pipe is a cable protection pipe for laying fiber optic, data and telecommunication cables. The cable protection pipe has a 2-rib system, so the total contact area between pipe and cable is extremely reduced compared to straight ribbed or smooth pipes.

Advantages of the PE-HD telero pipe compared to other cable protection pipes:

  • Reduction of pulling forces of the cable to be pulled into a plastic pipe
  • Uniformly building up pulling forces and thus protecting high-grade cable types
  • Maximized pull-in lengths and reduction of installation pits
  • Short installation times due to reduced connecting elements

Technical data of the HDPE telescope tube:

  • Material: PE-HD (polyethylene high density)
  • Ambient temperature range -40 °C to +90 °C
  • 2-rib system ensures the world's smallest contact area of 1.76 mm² between pipe and cable
  • 360° force distribution on PE pipes due to clamping ring system
  • Markings for checking the optimum insertion depth
  • Rubber ring for sealing against water and internal pressure
  • Conical clamping grooves in the pipe body fix the cables by - applying pressure when blowing in or during the pressure test.
